The brouhaha over the recent reporting, and speculation of Chief Justice Roberts is uncalled for. When a 52 year old man has a seizure, it is cause for concern. Tops on the list for evil factors would be a primary brain tumor or metastatic disease. It could even be from an old  subdural hemorrhage or an acute bleed or stroke. But these factors are rapidly ruled out with a head CT or brain MRI. Evidently, that’s already been done and no evil was found lurking.
So then, it’s simply a seizure disorder. If it’s occurred twice, and no other explanation is found, I’d start him on some seizure medication and he’d probably never have another episode and suffer no sequella from the epilepsy ever again. Is he fit to serve the US Supreme Court? OF COURSE. The real question is should he drive until he’s got the anti-seizure medication on board!
Leave the man alone and move on in the news to something else. He’ll be fine and this disorder will play no part in his ability to do his job.
Actually, perhaps the seizure disorder is job related. I mean if I had to have a job and listen to lawyers arguing all day, I think I might have a seizure myself.

Love your punch line!!
It’s a blessing and curse. My wife wishes I’d stop having punchlines, but she also gets to hear my material 24/7.
